With more than 25 years in the field of Graphic Design & Illustration, Terry Askey-Cole adds Ceramics to her artistic expression.

Terry brings her love of nature and the outdoors to all her creations. She specializes in hand-built ceramic leaf plates and platters, torn clay hand-built pieces, hand-painted functional ware, mosaics and sculpture that can be wonderful accents to any home or garden.

 

Terry’s leaves are one of the most popular designs. She started making them as a way to test glazes and they have evolved to include details, spirals, and many beautiful combinations of color. She uses redbud, oak, maple, and hosta leaves as models to imprint her work, all of which she picks in her garden.
